Legal Definitions and Service Specifications

The following terms and definitions constitute the legal and operational framework for services provided by Business Paperwork (hereafter "the Company") to the designated account holder (hereafter "the Customer"). These definitions align with United States Postal Service (USPS) Domestic Mail Manual (DMM) regulations governing Commercial Mail Receiving Agencies (CMRAs).

1. Private Mailbox (PMB) Legal Designation

All addresses issued by the Company are legally classified as Private Mailboxes (PMBs) under federal law. In accordance with USPS regulations, when filing official business paperwork, state registrations, or banking documentation, the address format must explicitly include the PMB designation or a pound sign (#) followed by the assigned mailbox number.

Legal Citation Requirement: The Customer agrees to format their assigned address exactly as provided by the Company (e.g., 123 Main St, PMB XXX or 123 Main St #XXX). Failure to include the PMB or # identifier may result in mail being returned to sender by the USPS as undeliverable.

2. Definitional Framework of Issued Addresses

To ensure compliance with state business filings, banking regulations (including the USA PATRIOT Act Customer Identification Program), and corporate registries, the issued address satisfies the following legal definitions:

A. Physical Address

A location tied directly to a fixed geographical spot on a map, verified by local municipalities and emergency services (911 mapping coordinates). This is not a virtual or fictional location; it represents a physical facility where the Customer’s mail is received, processed, and held.

B. Commercial Address

An address assigned to property zoned exclusively for commercial or business use, as opposed to residential zoning. This classification gives home-based businesses, remote workers, and startups a legally recognized commercial footprint, allowing them to satisfy commercial address requirements on public registries and citations.

C. Real Street Address

A standard, non-post-office-box address layout recognizing a physical building on a named roadway (e.g., "Street," "Avenue," "Drive"). This structural format is legally recognized by private freight carriers (including FedEx, UPS, and DHL), credit bureaus, and financial institutions that explicitly prohibit the use of traditional P.O. Boxes.

3. Scope of "Unlimited Incoming Mail"

The "Starter Personal & Business Plan" includes Unlimited Incoming Mail, defined under the following operational guidelines:

• Inclusions: The Company will accept, log, and process an unrestricted volume of standard letter-stock mail, postcards, official state notices, legal correspondences, and standard business documentation without imposing per-piece or per-page arrival fees.

• Operational Boundaries: "Unlimited" applies to standard, non-bulk, first-class, and certified mail volumes typical of a standard household or small business entity.

• Exclusions: The Company reserves the right to review accounts exhibiting commercial bulk-mail distributions, high-volume drop-shipping operations, or continuous high-weight freight reception. Such activities may require an upgraded logistics or high-volume package handling agreement.

4. "Instant Mailbox Number" Allocation and Regulatory Activation

Upon successful submission of the digital application and initial payment, the Customer is granted an Instant Mailbox Number allocation within the Company’s proprietary database system.

• System Reservation: This digital selection immediately reserves the specific PMB number for the Customer's exclusive use, preventing duplication across the system.

• Federal Compliance Freeze (USPS Form 1583): While the number is instantly assigned and reserved, the Company cannot legally release, scan, or hand over any incoming mail until the Customer satisfies federal identity verification requirements.

• Execution of Delivery: To fully activate the mailbox for legal mail handling, the Customer must complete, sign, and submit USPS Form 1583 (Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent) along with two acceptable forms of government-issued identification, as mandated by the United States Postal Service.
